In which languages is the product available?

The fischertechnik designer is delivered in German and English. You can change the language in the system settings of the program at any time. Since all texts are kept in an external file, it should be possible to easily translate the program into other languages.

Can I create my own parts?

Theoretically, every user can create their own parts in the products. You will need the following files:

    •    3D-File of the file in stl (binary) format

    •    Image of the part (64x64 Pixel with 256 colors in bmp format)

    •    Large picture of the part  (400x400 Pixel in jpg format)

    •    Definition file of the part

The biggest problem with creating your own parts is creating the definition file, because it describes all the properties. If you have any questions, please contact msamek@3dprofi.de

Can I get the original CAD files from fischertechnik?

Unfortunately, we are not allowed to share these files with third parties.

Under which operating system is the product executable?

The fischertechnik designer runs smoothly under Windows 2000, XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 (both 32 and 64 bit) and Windows 10
