- The fischertechnik designer now also allows transparent textures (for example for stickers)
- The export for Blender files (* .x3d) now also takes the part name into account.

- When deleting parts from a model, all selected parts are now removed. So far, only the parts that was selected first has been removed.
- If, after deleting parts, a group no longer contains any parts, this group is automatically removed.
- The online library now also displays the number of available models
- Under Python the function "ChangeLibrary" is now available. This function automatically changes to the specified group of the library. Example: ftd.ChangeLibrary (7) changes to the "Engine / Transmission" group of the new parts.
- When one or more parts are copied, the current construction phase is used as the construction phase, not the construction phase of the parts being copied.
- In the online library, the 20 latest models are now always listed in their own box.
- The online library can now also search for models. The name and the description of the model are examined regardless of the case.
- Under Python, you can now access the definition files of each component.
- In the menu "Edit" there is now a function to select all components from the currently active construction phase.
- In the "Edit" menu, there is now a function in which all components that are not selected can be hidden. After that, only the selected components are visible. By pressing View-> Refresh (F5) the view can be restored and all other parts are visible again. This function is particularly suitable for the tube manager, as components that are not needed here disturb the view.

- Correction: If a part is selected and the grouping mode is switched on or off, the whole group has been removed, if necessary.
- In the part library, the definition files of individual components can now be updated. To do this, the affected part must be selected and the menu then opened with the right mouse button. After selecting the function, an internet connection to the fischertechnik designer server will be established and the current definition file will be downloaded. Afterwards a restart of the fischertechnik designer software is necessary.
- In the system settings of the fischertechnik designer it is now possible to set whether the new and old part libraries should be combined. If this option is activated, the switch from the old to the new library will be omitted. After changing this option, the fischertechnik designer must be restarted.
- If python has been activated in the fischertechnik designers control panel, all scripts stored under the "Menu" folder will now be automatically included in a "Scripts" menu in the main menu bar. This makes it easy to access existing scripts. The menu folder is created automatically and can be accessed directly via the Python Manager.
- The function "Show components of the construction phase" has been extended by the ability to switch off the number of parts. Furthermore, it is now possible to switch to high-resolution graphics.
- The scroll wheel of the mouse has always been transferred to the zoom function of the camera. Now this is only possible if the mouse is in the 3D window. If the mouse is e.g. is located in the part library, then it is automatically scrolled in the library.
- The part update now not only downloads new components but also updates existing components.
